Thomas and his team help German and European clients with infrastructure financings particularly for rail- and road projects in the Americas, Western Europe and Australia. In recent years they have successfully concluded major financing transactions, each of which has stood out owing to the flexible application of the range of financing instruments available for providing the necessary liquidity to large infrastructure projects. Moreover, they have also closed an increasing number of projects in the digital infrastructure space.
After working as a securities trader at Istituto Bancario San Paolo di Torino, in 1989 Thomas transferred to Commerzbank, where he worked in a variety of functions including international export and project finance. In 2001 Thomas joined Bankgesellschaft Berlin, where he worked in the area of capital market transactions and was responsible for credit trading as well as the systems and processes in the lending business. Thomas has worked for KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH since 2004.
