Karsten is responsible for EBRD’s investment activities in infrastructure funds (which includes renewables funds) across the entire EBRD geography and for private equity funds in North Africa, the Levant and Türkiye. Karsten has more than 30 years’ experience in the investment industry, predominantly with a focus on infrastructure, with prior roles at Morgan Grenfell/Deutsche Bank, Babcock & Brown, Transport for London, and the EIB.
